Meet Star!
She is a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees mix and a beautiful large girl with the sweetest heart. She came to us as an owner surrender, and the only home she had ever known is now gone. She is understandably shy when she first meets new people, but once she feels safe, her soft and loving personality shines through.
Star is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, has received her yearly ProHeart injection, and is microchipped. She is wonderful with other dogs and enjoys having calm companionship around her. Star is ready to start a new chapter with someone who will give her patience, love, and a place where she can feel secure again.

Meet Hudson! 🐾
Hudson is a fun, high-energy 1-year-old Heeler mix with a big love for the outdoors and playtime with other dogs. He thrives on activity and would be happiest with an active family who enjoys letting him run, explore, and enjoy the backyard. He is people and kid friendly, incredibly sweet, loyal, and smart, and eager to bond with his forever family. Hudson is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, has received her yearly ProHeart injection, and is microchipped.
Hudson will do best in a cat-free home, where he can focus all his love and energy on his people and canine friends.
If you’re looking for a young, energetic companion who’s always ready for adventure and loyalty, Hudson may be your perfect match.

Meet Cash!
New rescue intake from 1-13-26. On December 30th, this dog was posted at the same Walmart in Mexia, TX where Rikki was originally found. At that time, he appeared approachable, and we asked in the comments if animal control had been contacted. We never saw any follow-up posts, and as usual, rescue life stayed busy.
On 1-13-25, a woman who lives behind the Walmart reached out to us about what appeared to be the same dog. This time, he was covered in blood and limping. It was also reported that he was tied to a female dog who was loose in the area. My mom immediately got ready and headed that way.
He is dog friendly but will need a home without cats. He is a smaller boy around 45-50 pounds. We are accepting applications. Once healed he will be available to adopt.

Marley’s Journey 🐾💔
Sweet Marley was found dragging her back legs, struggling to survive. After taking her in, x-rays revealed something devastating — she had been shot with a BB gun, and the pellet was lodged dangerously close to her spine.
Despite it all, Marley remained gentle and trusting.
One of her back legs was no longer usable, so she underwent amputation surgery. Now she’s rocking life as an adorable little tripod! 🐶💪
Marley is not yet available for adoption, as she’s still going through physical therapy to build strength and mobility. But every day, she gets a little stronger — and her spirit shines brighter.
Follow her journey and stay tuned — when she’s ready, she’ll be looking for a home that will love her fiercely and forever. 💖

Meet Sable 🤍
Sable is a sweet baby girl who is around 12-14 weeks old and was born on the streets. She was the runt of the litter, and while the rest of her siblings went to another rescue, Sable found her way to us. She is a mixed breed puppy with her whole life ahead of her. Sable is not yet available for adoption and will not be released until she is spayed, as this is a requirement of our rescue.
This little girl has already had a rough start, but she deserves a future filled with love, safety, and a family who will cherish her. Stay tuned for updates on Sable as she continues to grow and thrive.

SHE IS NOT AVAILABLE AND WILL BE TRAVELING UP NORTH!
Meet Sadie 🤍
Sadie was found at an old, shut down truck stop, desperately searching for food. She was too scared to go to a human for help, so the kind person who spotted her reached out to us to get her safe. We went out and were able to successfully trap her. The moment Sadie realized she was safe, everything changed. She was so happy to finally be with a human and feel kindness and security. Despite what she has been through, Sadie is incredibly sweet and loving.
She is dog and cat friendly and would make a wonderful addition to just about any family. Sadie is around 1 and a half years old and is blind in one eye due to past trauma, but it does not slow her down or take away from the amazing dog she is. Sadie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she is ready to find her forever home. This sweet girl deserves a future filled with love, safety, and a family of her own.

Meet Levi 💙
Levi was abandoned during one of the coldest moments imaginable. He was left in a crate through the ice storm with a small dog crated beside him. Despite everything he endured, Levi’s spirit is nothing short of incredible. He was underweight when found, but his heart was still full of love. Levi is estimated to be 5+ years old and is truly one of the sweetest souls you will ever meet.
Levi is dog friendly, kid friendly, and people friendly. He walks great on a leash and has a gentle, affectionate personality.
He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, has received her yearly ProHeart injection, and is microchipped.
Levi is ready to leave his painful past behind and finally experience the warmth, safety, and love he always deserved. If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion who will be forever grateful, Levi may be your perfect match.

Meet Leila
Leila is a sweet little Shih Tzu with a gentle personality and a heart full of love. This petite girl was recently surrendered due to skin issues, and she is now receiving the care she needs to heal and feel her very best.
Leila is estimated to be around 2 to 3 years old and is already showing how affectionate and loving she is. As her skin continues to heal and she completes her full vetting, her beautiful coat and bright personality will shine even more.
She will be available for adoption once she is fully healed and vetted, but we are excited to begin introducing her to those who may be interested in giving her the loving forever home she deserves.
Stay tuned for updates on Leila’s progress as this sweet girl gets ready for her fresh start.

Meet Stevie
Stevie is a 2 year old purebred Miniature Schnauzer who recently came to us as an owner surrender and is now ready for a fresh start. When she arrived, her coat was severely matted and it took over four hours to carefully shave her down so she could finally feel comfortable again. Despite everything she has been through, Stevie has remained incredibly sweet and loving.
Stevie was born with eye deformities and is completely blind, but she navigates her environment very well and adapts quickly once she learns her surroundings. Her gentle personality makes her a wonderful companion, and she is dog, cat, and kid friendly.
She is scheduled to be spayed at the end of February and will soon be ready to begin the next chapter of her life. Because Miniature Schnauzers often do best on breed-appropriate diets, we hope to find a home familiar with the breed or one willing to learn about their nutritional needs so Stevie can live her healthiest, happiest life.
Stevie may not see the world with her eyes, but she experiences it fully with her heart. She is looking for a patient, loving family who will guide her, protect her, and show her that her best days are still ahead.

Left on the streets to suffer greatly, this sweet soul was finally seen. The person who made the call to save her has named her Angel, and that name could not be more fitting. Angel is in rough shape. She is not wanting to put weight on her feet as they are extremely swollen and infected. About 80% of her body is covered in mange and a severe skin infection. Her neck appears to have been draining pus, and she is clearly in pain. While she has been kind and gentle so far, she does not want to be touched right now, which is completely understandable given what her body is enduring.
We do not know her age, and we are not going to push her in any way. Right now, the only focus is getting her comfortable, treating her pain, and starting the long road to healing. No animal should ever have to live like this. Please keep Angel in your prayers and pray for fast, gentle healing for her broken body and spirit.

Meet Bo! 🐶
Bo is a 1 year old hound mix with a heart full of love and a story that tugs at the heartstrings. Born on the streets, Bo is part of a litter that was rescued and cared for at our shelter while waiting to transfer to a northern rescue. Sadly, that transfer never happened—but we’re determined to find Bo the perfect forever home!
Bo is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, has received her yearly ProHeart injection, and is microchipped. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy addition to any family.
Bo is ready to trade in rescue life for couch cuddles, playtime, and unconditional love. Could you be the one to give him the home he deserves?

Meet DeeDee
DeeDee is a shy but incredibly sweet 1 year old girl who was born on the streets alongside her littermates, including her brother Bo, who is still with our rescue. When DeeDee first arrived, she struggled with skin issues, but she has healed beautifully and is now thriving.
DeeDee can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once you toss a ball and spend a little time playing with her, her personality begins to shine and the bond forms quickly. She simply needs a patient family willing to give her a little time to feel safe, and in return she becomes an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
She is dog, cat, and kid friendly and would do well in many types of homes that understand she may take a short adjustment period before fully opening up. Once she does, she truly is the best girl.
DeeDee is fully vetted and ready for her forever home. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, has received her yearly ProHeart injection, and is microchipped.
If you are looking for a gentle soul who just needs a chance to blossom, DeeDee may be the perfect addition to your family.
