🌸 Meet Rikki 🌸

Rikki survived at the Mexia, TX Walmart parking lot for over a year, too scared to trust humans and too clever to go into a trap. During that time, she even had a litter while living in these heartbreaking conditions. 💔

She is estimated to be just 2–4 years old, but her body tells a story of hardship. Rikki is covered head to toe in demodex mange and skin infections. Thanks to the help of a neighboring town’s animal control officer licensed in darting, we were finally able to get her safe and begin her healing journey. 🙏🐾

Right now, Rikki is focused on recovery—healing both her body and her heart. She is not available for adoption yet, but with love, care, and time, we know she will blossom into the dog she was always meant to be. 🌟

Susie Q is a taller small dog, weighing around 20 pounds. She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she becomes an absolute doll. With her cute smile and gentle nature, she’ll quickly become your best friend.

She’s fully vetted and gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids (though we’d recommend respectful, calm kids until she gets to know everyone). Susie Q has so much love to give—she just needs the right home where she can feel safe and cherished.

Meet Bruno – A Brave Soul in Need of a Special Home 💖🐾
Bruno is a 3-5-year-old small pocket bully with an incredible spirit and a story of perseverance. He was pulled from a local shelter when we noticed he wasn’t feeling well and seemed broken. Since then, he’s become a brave fighter, facing a series of ongoing medical challenges related to his intestines.

Bruno has had nonstop medical issues, and despite numerous biopsies to determine the cause of his digestive issues, we are still seeking the best course of treatment. His small intestines are severely inflamed, and his intestinal lining is not functioning properly. While this is a long-term condition, it’s become easier to manage, though Bruno still struggles with his stool issues, especially when he sleeps. To help manage this, we use Kong mats, which are easy to wash, and he’s on a very strict diet to help manage his symptoms.

Despite his health challenges, Bruno is fully vetted, and his sweet, loving nature shines through. He’s an absolute trooper, and though he requires extra care, he’s worth every bit of attention. We’re still seeking the best medical options to help his stomach recover, and we’re hopeful for improvements in his condition.

Bruno needs a special home, one that understands his needs and is committed to helping him live the happiest life possible despite his medical challenges.

Meet Petey – A Happy Boy with a Heart Full of Hope! 💙🐾
Rescued from the streets, Petey is a 9 month old hound mix with a truly inspiring story. Despite being nerve paralyzed in his back legs, this sweet boy doesn't let anything hold him back. Petey gets around just fine—with or without his wheelchair—and is always the happiest pup in the room.

Though he faces physical challenges, Petey’s resilient spirit shines through. He's been learning to navigate and figure out how to walk, especially with the help of his fellow puppies who are helping him along the way. Petey is expected to grow into a medium-sized boy, and his boundless energy and love for life will fill any home with joy.

Petey’s not asking for much—just a loving family who can see past his disability and give him the care and attention he needs to thrive.

Meet Sammy!

We pulled this kitten from a local shelter as he had a lip degloving injury on top of having a upper respiratory issue. Sammy received his vet care is available to adopt! Surprisingly this kitten is not found of bonding with cats. He would do best in a home without cats or given time to adapt. He is good with dogs once he gets to know them. He is around 14 weeks old. 

 Marley’s Journey 🐾💔

Sweet Marley was found dragging her back legs, struggling to survive. After taking her in, x-rays revealed something devastating — she had been shot with a BB gun, and the pellet was lodged dangerously close to her spine.

Despite it all, Marley remained gentle and trusting.

One of her back legs was no longer usable, so she recently underwent amputation surgery. Now she’s rocking life as an adorable little tripod! 🐶💪

Marley is not yet available for adoption, as she’s still going through physical therapy to build strength and mobility. But every day, she gets a little stronger — and her spirit shines brighter.

Willow’s life on the streets was heartbreaking. She was found in terrible condition—her body covered in painful demodex mange, her coat severely matted, and even suffering from eye injuries and infections. 💔

Despite everything she has endured, Willow’s gentle spirit still shines through. She is now safe with us, receiving the medical care and love she’s needed for so long. 🐾

She is not available for adoption yet—Willow will need time to heal fully, both physically and emotionally. Once she is healthy and fully vetted, she will be ready to find the loving home she has always deserved. ❤️

Meet Marsie!
This sweet 7-year-old girl has been through so much. She spent her life being used for breeding and living in terrible conditions, arriving to us extremely matted and neglected. Despite her rough past, Marsie is gentle and loving, ready to start a new chapter.

She is scheduled for surgeries on September 11th to get spayed, repair a hernia, remove one mammary gland tract due to mammary tumors, and receive a much-needed dental cleaning. Once she is fully healed, she will be ready to find her forever home!

Velvet came to us under heartbreaking circumstances after being hit by a car in Marlin, TX. At just 5 years old, her body has endured more than most—likely used for breeding and then left to fend for herself. When we found her, she had a dislocated hip and was paralyzed in her back legs.

Despite everything, Velvet’s spirit is unbreakable. She’s a pocket bully who should weigh around 50 lbs once fully healthy, and she’s already showing amazing progress—learning to walk again and growing stronger every single day.

She came such a long way and with the right adopter she will continue to thrive and get stronger!

Cam is a 3-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix who is a sensitive and loyal boy! Poor Cam has been with us since he was a puppy. He and his siblings were originally supposed to head up North to another rescue, and we were holding them for transport—but sadly that all fell through.

We don’t understand why so many people overlook Cam, because he is such a sweet and submissive boy! He loves dogs and kids, but would do best in a home without cats.

Cam was recently adopted, but returned because the child in the home was a bit too much for him, and it made him scared and uncomfortable. This sweet boy would love a semi-quiet to quiet home where he can feel safe, relax, and finally have a place to call his own.
