Animal Rescue Serving Central Texas
We take in medical cases that require rehab to get back to a healthy state. Our goal is to heal each heart and body so they may live happy lives after.
Our goal is to help an animal in need regardless. We can't change their past but we can give them a brighter future!
Our rescue will provide help to the community and network with other rescues. We want to help be supportive in any way we can so that more are saved.
Dottie is a new rescue. This poor girl was found dumped in a park in Belton, Tx. She was found in this condition on top of having a phone charger wrapped around her neck. She fought hard to stay alive. She spent a week in the hospital and is now at our rescue to continue to healing. Dottie is still with us at the rehab and still suffers from PTSD.
Bleu is a new rescue. He was found outside a home in this condition. He is currently receiving love, rehab, and care to heal him. He is only a 4-5 month old puppy. It is very sad that he was left in this condition. Bleu healed up and found his amazing new home!!!
Wilma and her sibling was dumped on a business road in Temple, Tx. Both too scared to go to anyone to help. Sadly after a few days her sibling was hit by a car and killed. It took another 10-12 months to get her safe. Joy of Healing Heart Rehab finally saw her in person after months and months of going to the location. She set a trap and was able to get her. She was scared and had a badly injured leg. She went straight to the vet the next day. Her leg was broken badly and the leg had to be amputated. Through TikTok her amazing new Dad found his new fur baby! Joy and her husband drove her all the way from Texas to South Carolina to her new home!
Marcella was born with a cleft and sent to a tube feeder. The tube feeder did great but unfortunately didn't speak up with being scared to switching her to dry food when they time came. She was very skinny and still had not learned how to eat on her own. Debra rehabbed her and is now a beautiful healthy dog living her best life at Debra's house.
Joy Bastow makes sure to post their stories to help educate the community on lives being saved. She does it to help prevent others ending up like many that have rescued and educate the community to become bigger voices for animals in need all over!
Joy did this video shortly after a puppy was found and saved by Debra who had his mouth and nose ripped off. So many people commented suggesting euthanizing the pup to end his suffering. Many cases before people suggested the same. Too many injured animals are quickly being euthanized without given a chance to heal and recover. This is another reason we share their stories is to show people many of them will survive which is why we are dedicated to helping medical cases.
