Poor Rufus was found on the streets emaciated and thirsty. He was posted to locate an owner and no one came forward. He is around 4-5 months old and will be vetted. He is getting healthy again as well.
Remington was found shot in the leg in the country. He had to have his leg removed but it doesn't slow him down at all. He is dog and kid friendly. He should not be in a home with cats or livestock. He is an amazing boy who has a lot of love to give! He is around 4 years old and is fully vetted.
This handsome small guy is 6 years old and fully vetted including a dental. Toby is a small guy with a very unique look! Sadly we had to get him shaved but he does have longer hair. Toby needs to be in a home with only females or only males or the only dog. Though he is neutered he is very possessive over girl dogs. He is a sweet lap dog wanting his furever home!
Meet Lucy! Poor Lucy’s owner moved in the same town however Lucy was left behind even though the new house had a big yard. She has had several litters but no more! Lucy is fully vetted. We estimate her around 4-5 years old. She is very sweet and loving. She is dog/cat/kid friendly.
I am a 3-4 year old boy who was found running the streets of a small town. I am a strong boy but one who listens. I am a good boy and listen to my owners. I am very smart and I am easy to train. I would do best if I am the only dog because I am dominant and if challenged I will fight. I am fully vetted and ready to go to my new furever home.
I am a 5-7 year old Collie boy who was found at a known dump site in Temple, Tx. He was picked up by animal control and held at the shelter to find his owners but unfortunately no one came looking for him. He is in pretty rough shape with skin issues and is HIGH heartworm positive. Duke is receiving treatment for his heartworms and has been neutered. He is dog/cat/kid friendly. He is such a great loyal dog and would make someone an amazing fur baby!
Lacy was found in horrible condition and very scared. We went and got her immediately! Lacy had demadex mange and it was clear whoever had her did not socialize well with her. She is around a year old and full vetted. She will not take to a leash but is small enough to transport in a pet taxi. While being with us we took in Nikki and the two of them immediately bonded!
Nikki is around a year old and fully vetted. Nikki despite her front legs being deformed at birth does not let that stop her! She does have a wheelchair for high outdoor playtime. She gets around good without it but her poor back and back legs will suffer long term which is why she has her wheelchair.
These two girls will bring a lot of love and entertainment bringing smiles to your home! They look out for each other, sleep together, comfort each other, and have a long play times together!
Felix is a animal cruelty case we took in from Waco, Tx. He was completely emaciated, high heartworm positive, and more. Thankfully his owners surrendered him for care. He is a great boy who loves dogs/kids/cats. Felix is still healing and will be going through fast kill heartworm treatment. If a potential home is found in Temple/Belton area we would consider placing him in a home as his treatment will be done at Belton Vet. He can not be neutered until he has heartworm treatment. He weighs 35 pounds.
Leroy showed up at our rescue in Thornton, Tx and no one claimed him. He is super sweet and very eager to learn. He should not be in a home with chickens or ducks. We guess him around 1-2 years old. He has learned a leash very quickly! He can be an escape artists and can climb fences. With having him out with another dog playing he does not try to escape. When he did he stayed close to the rescue.
Cam is a 1 year old boy and was left with litter mates to run the streets and were not fed. We were working with another rescue to get these babies homes but it is a stand still. They are all dog friendly and all need homes.
Toby is a 1 year old boy and was left with litter mates to run the streets and were not fed. He is such a fun personality boy!!! Toby is lower in the hip area like a German Shepherd. He is very unique looking! This boy loves to run and play and is very smart!
Poor senior Sophie was found at a dumpster with a half of bag of dog food at an apartment complex in Temple, TX. She was having a very hard time walking and it was extremely cold that night. We went to get her and found she had a microchip. We discovered her owner as a puppy had rehomed her as a puppy. She is 9-10 years and now fully vetted. Sophie has arthritis in knees and hips but received a injection which helped her a lot. She will need the shot monthly. She also has dry eyes and will need eye ointment put in 2 times a day. She is dog/cat/kid friendly and full of entertainment! She is house trained as well. Sophie is a full blood Bulldog. With a Bulldog you get the snores and all of the fun she offers! She is a great dog and we do not know or understand why she was dumped!
Beau is a 1 year old boy and was left with litter mates to run the streets and were not fed. He is dog friendly and very smart! He is a cur mix and loves the water.

Tucker was dumped on a country road. He is around 8-9 months old. He loves to run and play and a total sweetheart!! He is fully vetted . He is dog/cat/kid friendly. He is absolutely a handsome boy!!!
Jack and his brother, Copper, were dumped in corn fields outside of Moody, Tx. They were too scared to go to anyone and we had to trap them. It was apparent they were abused and not trusting of humans immediately. They were covered in fleas and skinny. They are only 14-16 weeks old.
Jack is now around 9 months old and is still learning to trust strangers. He will run from people he doesn't know. He also is still taking a slow time learning a leash. He screams like he is being injured. We are working with him along with a trainer. Jack once he bonds to his human he will be a great companion and very sweet. He knows my mom well. We will be extremely picky about a home for him until he fully gets over his fears.
Copper is a boy that was found dumped with his sibling, Jacks above, in a corn field when they were around 5 months old. Both of them were very scared of humans and we can't blame them. Copper is very sweet and shows he is submissive. He is fully vetted and around 9 months old now. He had a hernia but was fixed when he was neutered. He is dog and cat friendly. He maybe a little shy until he knows you but once he does he will be the sweetest boy. He is very playful and gentle. He will definitely make his family laugh!
