I would do best if I am the only dog because I am dominant and if challenged I will fight. I am fully vetted and ready to go to my new furever home.

Duke is an amazing boy!
I am a 5-7 year old Collie boy who was found at a known dump site in Temple, Tx. He was picked up by animal control and held at the shelter to find his owners but unfortunately no one came looking for him. He is in pretty rough shape with skin issues and is HIGH heartworm positive. Duke is receiving treatment for his heartworms and has been neutered. He is dog/cat/kid friendly. He is such a great loyal dog and would make someone an amazing fur baby!

Lacy is a small sweet girl
Lacy was found in horrible condition and very scared. We went and got her immediately! Lacy had demadex mange and it was clear whoever had her did not socialize well with her. She is a 10-12 months old. She is now healed and fully vetted! She is a shy and calmer girl. She is dog, cat, and kid friendly. She is still working on 100% house trained. We are working on puppy pads too. Her confidence is still building as well. She has come a long way!

Felix is a animal cruelty case we took in from Waco, Tx. He was completely emaciated, high heartworm positive, and more. Thankfully his owners surrendered him for care. He is a great boy who loves dogs/kids/cats. Felix is still healing and will be going through fast kill heartworm treatment. If a potential home is found in Temple/Belton area we would consider placing him in a home as his treatment will be done at Belton Vet. He can not be neutered until he has heartworm treatment. He weighs 35 pounds.

Leroy showed up at our rescue in Thornton, Tx and no one claimed him. He is super sweet and very eager to learn. He should not be in a home with chickens or ducks. We guess him around 1-2 years old. He has learned a leash very quickly! He can be an escape artists and can climb fences. With having him out with another dog playing he does not try to escape. When he did he stayed close to the rescue.

Meet Jack!
Jack and his brother, Copper, were dumped in corn fields ouside of Moody, Tx. They were too scared to go to anyone and we had to trap them. It was apparent they were abused and not trusting of humans immediately. They were covered in fleas and skinny. They are only 14-16 weeks old. We believe they are husky/shepherd mixes and suspect them to be large dogs. They are still learning human touch and social skills. We are accepting applications but will not be placed until they heal their hearts a little more.

Copper is very sweet and shows he is submissive. Copper is more trusting of human touch currently. He has umbillical cord hernia that may heal on its own or may require surgery.
